UPDATE FROM DISD-ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN CROSS OAK RANCH:

This is from the Denton ISD Director of Construction regarding the elementary school in COR:

"At the time the 2007 Bond was in the planning stages it was determined the best use of time and money was to separate the bond into two phases. This would allow us to be more accurate in the construction scheduling as well as saving some money on the sale of bonds. There are two new elementary and one new  middle school in the 2007 bond. Of which one is the new elementary in COR, In the last three years Denton ISD has opened two elementary schools on the east 380 corridor. Neither of the schools approach the capacity they were designed to service. With this fact in mind, and the opening of two elementary schools for the 2008 / 2009 school year, the new schools in the 2007 bond were placed in the second phase. The current schedule I have is showing the next elementary school in COR to start construction in May of 2009 and open for the 2010 school year.

Do you love to meet new people? Come join us on Wednesday, April 16th @ 7:00PM at the amenity center to kick-off our brand new Welcome Committee! This committee will "welcome" new residents to Cross Oak Ranch, help them get involved in the neighborhood, answer any questions they may have, or simply just to say hello!

COMMUNITY-WIDE GARAGE SALE:
Start cleaning out those garages! Cross Oak Ranch is having their community-wide garage sale on Saturday, May 3rd from 8:00AM-3:00PM. Contact Erin Dunkle @ for any questions.

SPRING INSPECTION TIME IS HERE:
It's that time again for management to be out and about inspecting the lawns and flowerbeds throughout COR. Please be sure that you are treating your lawns and flowerbeds with pre-emergent to ward off those nasty spring time weeds. Management will be inspecting yards twice a month.

YARD OF THE MONTH IS HERE:
Time to start sprucing up those yards. The landscape committee will begin their monthly meetings in April and will continue through the Spring and Summer months.
