Making Cross Oak Ranch a Great Place to Live
Summary:

Community Management Associates (CMA) is pleased to be working with the homeowners, developer and builders to make Cross Oak Ranch an even better, more attractive place to live and play.   In our short tenure as the management company for Cross Oak Ranch, we have identified several areas that need to be addressed and we are working to correct the issues.  There will be refinements and enhancements that we will be asked to administer which will benefit the entire community.  Of note are some of the important changes, improvements and clarifications that will take place immediately.  We appreciate your cooperation and support.

  • There will a covenant change by the Board of Directors to increase the fine for driving and parking any semi-tractor trailer in the Community as it damages the streets and has been the subject of many complaints by residents.  The fine will be $250.00.

  • There have been questions about the use of the pools and amenity centers as the Community grows and others, perhaps, are added to the grounds.  Any playground, pool or amenity center areas will be open for the use by any resident of any section of the Cross Oak Ranch Communities!

  • To increase safety and to make the area more appealing, the landscaper will mow and clear the area adjacent to the walking trail that residents use for exercise and enjoyment.

  • The HOA has made arrangements with the Oak Point Police Department to have more police officers patrolling and also monitoring the amenity centers, pools and other gathering places.  This, coupled with the installation of video equipment and security fencing around the pools, will serve as a major and effective crime prevention measure.  The HOA fully intends to prosecute offenders.

What can you do to help?

  • Pay dues and encourage others to do the same so we can continue to take care of the operational costs and to plan improvements that directly and positively affect the Community.

  • Call the Oak Point Police Department for criminal behavior (972) 294-0000.  They are in a much better position to address the problem and have a more immediate impact than CMA.

  • Email or call CMA if you have questions or concerns about the interpretation of the rules or covenants (Ed Griffin ) or 972-943-2863.

  • If you want to report a violation in your neighborhood, if possible, take a picture and email it to Ed Griffin so that CMA can have documentation of the incident or situation (i.e. tall grass, unkept yards, semi-trucks, fences down, any unapproved for sale signs and any for rent signs, etc.).  Any information you provide will assist CMA is correcting the problem.  All reports will be kept confidential.

  • Please take your trash cans out to the street on Thursday night for pick up on Friday and return them Friday night to their respective storage place.

  • To ensure that you obtain accurate and timely information about the Community, please check this website or call CMA.

  • Help promote the Community by working with the builders to attract new visitors and prospective new residents.  As the population of the Cross Oak Ranch Community grows, 1) costs decrease per resident to keep up the operations of the Community; 2) more features can be added to improve entertainment and activities, and 3) the sooner the school district needs additional facilities.

  • Cooperate with law enforcement as they help keep the Community safe and your property protected.   Vandalism costs the Community more than just the replacement value of the equipment.  Report vandalism immediately.
